As they do every year, my mom and dad hosted a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We love spending the holiday at their house, relaxing, enjoying each other's company, and eating delicious food! My sister-in-law, Kristen, made a lot of yummy dishes too, including my favorite Thanksgiving dessert (pumpkin cake!). Tyler had so much fun playing with his cousins, Ben & Julia, and it was so nice to get to spend time with my parents, my brothers, Kristen, my niece & nephew, & Dan & Tyler too! Dan and I realized that it was his eighth Thanksgiving spent at my parents' house. The first one was in 2008, when we were engaged. :-) We've loved having Dan's mom over for Thanksgiving all of these years as well, but this year she got to spend the holiday with Dan's sister, Caroline, Baby Liam, and our brother-in-law, Brian, and his family.
The kids had a great time playing outside and it was a beautiful day. Tyler seemed to enjoy eating strawberries the most when we all sat down to eat. I asked him once we were home, "What was your favorite part of Thanksgiving?" and he said, "Playing outside...no, actually, the dessert." :-) It was such a fun day!!
Tyler's fifth Thanksgiving! Dan and Tyler were less than thrilled when I came home with his outfit this year, but Tyler ended up liking it once he wore it (and chose different pants!) I decided to wear the same outfit I wore for my family sprinkle and realized I've been wearing the dress backwards. Oops! ;-)
