Celebrating Tyler's 14th Birthday

\

I think Tyler had a fun birthday!  He wasn't thrilled that it was a school day, but we did allow him to sleep in and go in a bit late.  He also enjoyed a venti drink from Starbucks and a trip to Target.  After school, we all sang to him, ate cake, & watched him open his gifts.  He had gifts from my parents to open as well!  He really wanted to "flip" for his birthday, so we went to a new bouncy place (where, unfortunately, you aren't allowed to flip!)  I'm glad I videotaped his first (and last) flip, because we didn't know that flipping wasn't allowed.  Oops!  We loved celebrating our 14-year-old boy!

Brady insisted on doing chalk (at 7 pm) the night before Tyler's birthday, and then he wrote this all on his own...

I thought Tyler was 5'10, but based on this picture, he may be over 6 feet!

I managed to get one picture with the birthday boy...

Tyler is 14!

We can't believe Tyler is 14 today!!  We love watching him grow & are so proud to have him as our son.  He is funny, energetic, an amazing mountain biker, & a budding entrepreneur!  Dan, Brady, Skye & I feel very lucky to have him in our family.  We hope he has a wonderful birthday, and that this coming year is his best one yet!

March Fun

March has definitely been busy so far!  The spring weather and the time change have led us to spend a lot of time outside!

Making me happy lately...

Having another "Girls Day" in Cary Town with some of my friends from my neighborhood…

Brady's recent artwork & school work...

Selfies with my boys (Brady & I were off to his house breakfast at his school!  He is in the Nukumori "orange" house)...

Brady & I had to be at his school earlier than we've ever been there before, and his expression in this photo cracks me up...

 Pretty skies...

And an angel cloud...

When the roads were icy, a car went up on the curb & ran into the playground fence.  We didn't see it happen (and thank goodness no one was hurt!)   After that happened, Brady decided that the ramp that had been repaired on one of the trails, had also been hit by a car due to "icy roads!"
