A Bro Trip & A Staycation

Dan & Tyler took their second annual "Bro Trip" to Hilton Head last week!  Last year when they were gone, Brady & I were busy getting our townhouse ready to put on the market.  (I am SO glad there is no buying & selling going on this summer!!)  This year, Brady & I stayed home since it was Brady's first full week of ABA & we had a very busy schedule!  I do think we may go with them next year, though!  Brady & I didn't go to the beach at all last summer, but luckily we are planning a family beach trip later on this summer, with Dan's side of the family.

In addition to ABA, Brady and I got to have dinner with my Aunt Kathy (though Brady slept through most of it, since we were at our house!), we took two long naps, we watched hours of gymnastics Olympic trials, & Brady got to have a playdate with his friends, Milton & Ella!  We also saw my parents three times!  They came to see us on Father's Day, & there was the most beautiful pink sky that night!  Brady also had gymnastics, & I had long, overdue phone dates with my friends, Megan (who lives in SC!) & Nina!  We definitely missed Dan & Tyler a lot & were so glad once they were home, but we know they had a great time at the beach!

More End of The School Year Photos

We are only one week into summer vacation, but the last day of school already seems like it was a long time ago!  We absolutely loved seeing some of the boys' school work, especially from the beginning of the school year!

Tyler was asked to make some goals at the beginning of 4th grade, and I think he met them all!  We love the story he wrote about the day we adopted Skye!

Tyler took this photo of Skye & it is SO cute!

We love the personalized worksheets Brady's teachers sent home with him for the summer!  Because they are laminated, he can just wipe them off & do them again & again!

We are so proud of Tyler for earning a Comet card!  He also had really nice comments from his teacher on his report card...

"This year, I've enjoyed working with Tyler.  He will accomplish many great things in the year ahead.  Kudos to a job well done, and I am confident that he will tackle all objectives that lie ahead in fifth grade.  His happy spirit and warm smile will be greatly missed.  Keep reading and have a wonderful summer!"

Brady's notes for his teachers were SO cute!
