More February Photos & Videos

 

There's been a lot of snow this month & a lot of days off from school for the boys!  They ended up having a five day weekend, which started with snow and ended with a day that felt like spring!

Making me happy this month...

Brady graduated from his ABA center!  He spent almost four years working one on one with different behavior technicians (all of whom were wonderful!)  He most recently worked with Miss Bre, who made him special cupcakes on his last day.  They had a special graduation party for him and even gave him a graduation cap!  It amazes us how much he has grown since he started at ABA, and we are so thankful to everyone who worked with him over the years.  Everyone was so kind and wonderful! 

Brady had an assignment recently where he had to brainstorm where he'd be in 2042.  He will be 27 years old, and when I asked him where he'd be living, he said South Riding.  (We had just been looking at photos of our old house in South Riding!)  I asked him where he'd be working & he said, "At the library!"  If you ask him where Dan works, he always says, "At the library," so it is SO cute that he wants to work at the same place where his dad works.  (Dan works from home but often goes to the library for some peace & quiet!)

Valentine's Day

It was so fun to get to see my parents on Valentine's Day this year!  They were going to visit us the Wednesday before the holiday, but the snow pushed their visit.  I'm so glad the boys had a full day of school, and Brady loved getting valentines from all of his classmates!

I did all of the decorating the morning of Valentine's Day, so thank goodness the boys had school...

I wanted to get red velvet sandwich cookies from Target to put on our heart stand, but they were all sold out.  Maybe next year!  (I also need to remember not to go to Target on Valentine's Day...)

My parents brought a delicious heart cake...

Brady's valentines for his classmates and teachers were SO cute...

He wrote his name on most of them, but he chose to write some "geometry dash" terms on others...

He was so cute making his valentines & carrying his mailbox to our car on Valentine's Day...

I'm so glad I got some photos with my boys!  Of course, I always struggle to get Dan's entire head in our selfie photos, because he is so tall!  When he and I were exchanging our cards, we were sitting on the couch & Brady was sitting on the arm rest.  After Brady saw me lean over to give Dan a kiss, he immediately leaned over to give Dan a kiss, too, and it was SO cute!

I can't believe this was the 20th time Dan and I have celebrated Valentine's Day together!  I was always single on Valentine's Day until I met him, and I'll never forget when he sent a bear & flowers to the school where I was working at the time!
