Nice Weather for a Walk :-)

Tyler is 23 Months Old!

This week Dan and I celebrated his upcoming birthday at The Melting Pot, which was so yummy!!  We also finally got to watch Argo!   Tyler enjoyed a trip to the park even though it was freezing.  :-)  He went to two playdates at Brooklyn & Baby Jason's house & got to see so many of his friends.  I enjoyed discussing the Oscars (and all of the fashion!) with the moms.  :-)  We had a great visit with Chrissy & Brayden!  The boys loved dancing to Brayden's favorite song. 

"I Love You"

      This week Tyler had his third professional haircut.  He did a great job sitting still but he refused to wear the cape.  :-)  We both enjoyed having my friend, Julie, over for dinner this week.  Tyler got to see all of his grandparents (he loves them all so much!) & he had a playdate with Brooklyn & Baby Jason.  Dan & I went to lunch at Rio Grande & walked around the mall.  I bought a super cute outfit for my niece, Julia, who I got to see this week!  It was great to visit with her & my sister-in-law, Kristen.  On the way to their house, a car in front of me had a license plate that said, "Gaga Fan".  I had to take a picture since that is what Tyler calls my mom.  :-) 

       Tyler said, "I love you Mama" for the first time this week & then started telling everyone that he loves them.  So so so so cute!!!  :-)  I put his old bathrobe on him for the first time in a year.  It barely fit (of course).  :-)  I can't believe how much he's grown!

Tyler's 2nd Valentine's Day

Tyler had a very fun Valentine's Day with his friends!  He got to see all of his grandparents this past weekend.  He even spent the night at my parents' house while Dan recovered from the flu & I attended my good friend Vanessa's bridal shower!  I had a great time shopping with Vanessa.  :-) 

Tyler attended gymnastics class with his friend Reed this week.  Unfortunately, he was constantly running to any section he wasn't supposed to be in.  He also got to have a playdate with Brooklyn & Baby Jason this week.  He talks about his friends all the time now!  :-)

I can't believe how much Tyler has changed in one year!!

Party Weekend

This past weekend, Tyler went to two parties.  The first was his friend Lucas's 2nd birthday party, which had a Dr. Seuss theme.  Tyler & I had so much fun!  Dan got to attend a Maryland basketball game with some friends while we were gone.  The next day Tyler & I went to a Superbowl party at Reed & Dylan's house.  Dan went to Baltimore with friends to watch the game.  We are all very happy that the Ravens won. I still dressed Tyler in Redskins pants though.  :-)  I will miss dressing him in all of the football attire. 

I love hearing Tyler say, "watermelon", "Dylan", & "seven".  So, so cute!!  He got to have a playdate with Baby Jason this week but we had to cancel a lot of our plans because we all got sick.  :-(

Special T-Shirts

Three of Tyler's good friends (Joey, Noah, & Zachary) are going to be big brothers this spring/summer.  About two months ago I said we needed to make them big brother t-shirts, but Tyler's should say, "Maybe in 2015" since Dan & I aren't quite ready to have another baby.  :-)  The boys seemed so excited to actually be allowed to stand on the couch!  They gave us big smiles & couldn't have been cuter.  I cannot wait to hold their siblings & I can't wait to take a picture of seven kids lined up on the couch next year!  :-)
