Little Fireman

 

In addition to our weekend away, Tyler got to see a lot of his friends at Baby Alex's 1st birthday party!  He had a great time.  :-)  He also got to have a playdate with Noah and Baby Alex when we got back to town.  We went to a pool party hosted by our friend Nina, which was to welcome another friend, Liz, and her baby, Henry, who were visiting from Hawaii.  :-) 

Visiting Friends

Tyler was so happy to see his friends, Brooklyn and Jason, for the first time in over a year!  He also got to meet their new baby brother, Jaxson.  :-)

This week Tyler said, "Let's just be happy, Mama!"  I thought that was great advice.  :-)  He definitely had a happy week.  He went to the park with his friends Noah, Baby Alex, Dylan, Reed, and Baby Lily.  He also had a playdate at our house with Noah, Baby Alex, Zachary, and Baby Austin.  He spent two nights with my parents (who celebrated their wedding anniversary this week!) while Dan and I stayed in a hotel.  Our stay (and the relaxation involved!) was one of my birthday gifts and it was a great one!  Dan and I loved going out to two of our favorite restaurants, sitting by the pool, and watching the last four episodes of 24.  I definitely was missing Tyler though!!  He went to his friend Grace's 4th birthday party, which had an adorable Hello Kitty garden party theme.  I also took him to a sunflower farm.  It was a busy week!! 

Summer Fun

 

 

 

 

 This week I spent a few hours with my friend Christa at her pool.  We had lunch and I had a pina colida.  I felt like I was on vacation again.  :-)  My friend Vanessa came for a visit on Monday and stayed until Tuesday.  Tyler enjoyed spending time with my parents and with Dan's mom while Vanessa and I went shopping.  He went to two stores with us and was a good boy when we went out to dinner.  :-)  We also went to the pool with Dan over the weekend and I did a family photo shoot for my friend Michelle and her family.  Tyler and I went to Barnes and Noble so he could play with the train table and I used my birthday gift card to buy the new Bachelor book (which I finished in 24 hours!)  :-) 

 

We got our family photo from Harper's birthday party this week.  I love it!  Tyler wasn't able to smile because his mouth was full of fruit snacks.  :-)  I also took Tyler's 3 years and 3 months photo next to his carebear.  :-)  I took his picture with the carebear every month during his first year.  Since his first birthday, I've taken them every three months.  I'm always amazed at how much he's grown! :-)

 

 

 

Rearranging

Tyler was a trooper this week as I spent hours every day working on organizing and rearranging our house (which is still a work in progress).  He also went location scouting with me for future photo shoots.  :-)  I did a maternity shoot this week for a friend I hadn't seen in 16 years.  She and I had been in show choir together in high school. 

Tyler had a pool date with his friends Dylan, Reed, Baby Lily, Noah, and Baby Alex.  He also had a playdate at Zachary and Baby Austin's house, where he got to see Joey, Baby Joshua, Noah, Baby Alex, Avery, Baby Harper, and Emily.  We went on two walks to the pier with Dan and saw six bunnies!  We also went to the pool and to the park.  :-)
