Once the ice and snow melted, Brady and I started spending a lot of time at our neighborhood basketball court!  I'm happy to be back walking the trails, too.

Happy Birthday to Dan!

 

We are wishing a very happy 48th birthday to Dan today!  He is officially the same age that my mom was when she helped me set up my classroom for my first year of teaching (SO crazy!)  I remember when he was 27 and I'm very glad I've been able to celebrate 21 of his birthdays with him.  Tyler, Brady, Skye, Winnie, and I love him very much!

Valentine's Day

 

Valentine's Day fell on a Saturday this year, which was fun!  Brady wore special Valentine's Day shirts three days in a row and had fun opening all of the valentines he received from his teachers and classmates.  Dan and I can't believe we've now spent the holiday together 21 times!

Brady had fun decorating his room for Valentine's day!  We put up multiple banners and lots of stuffed animals and frames...

We weren't sure if the snow was ever going to melt, but thankfully now there is only a little bit left.  This month has definitely been wild around here.

Making me happy lately...

Seeing how much Winnie has grown!  She was 3.08 lbs on 11/12 (five days after she moved in with us), then she was 3.78 lbs on 12/3, and she weighed 4.8 lbs on 2/7 (the three-month anniversary of the day we adopted her)...

She's definitely gotten bigger!  Brady calls her, "Winter Kitty" which is adorable...
