Four Years With Skye

On 9/29/20, Dan and I adopted our cat while Tyler & Brady were at school.  We wanted to surprise them with our new pet when they got home!  Tyler decided on the name "Skye" which fits him very well.  I can't believe we've had our "Skye Skye" for four years already!

A few weeks ago, Brady hid in his bedroom closet with my phone.  I wasn’t sure what he was up to, so I opened the door and he immediately said, “Keep it!” He had changed the screen saver in my phone to this picture…

More September Photos

Dan and Tyler took a special trip to Massanutten!  Tyler loves mountain biking there!

Making me happy lately...

All on his own, Brady has been finding "how to draw" videos that show him how to draw different kinds of cars...

Brady's room has always looked like a nursery, only with beds instead of a crib!  But recently, he has been decorating his room!  It's no surprise that he has decided to decorate his room the same way Tyler's room is decorated...

For the second year in a row, all of my boys came with me to my outdoor photography job!  It's my second year taking pictures for Brady's gymnastics center, and once a year they have a silent auction event.  I love the photos I got of my boys...

Just like last year, we went straight from the event to Bottoms Up, our favorite pizza place that we only go to a few times a year.  On the way home, the sky looked so beautiful...

Brady is doing amazing in third grade (we've gotten great reports from both his classroom teacher and his special education teacher!) and we love seeing his work come home...

Apparently, at the end of the school year in May, Brady took a few things out of his backpack before I got to see them.  While "organizing" recently, I came across all of this adorable school work from second grade...

I can't remember if this worksheet was also from second grade, or if it's more recent, but it is adorable...

I love hearing Brady say the word, yes.  I ask him multiple questions every day (where I know the answer is going to be “yes”) so I can hear him say the word because he sounds so cute…
