Despite the crazy start to 2017, we had a lot of fun in January! Thankfully, Brady started sleeping better halfway through the month. Tyler had a great time at his friend Kenny's birthday party, and we were all happy to celebrate my nephew Ben's 8th birthday! Brady and I attended a first birthday party for his baby friend, Crosby. :-)
Dan and Tyler had two three day weekends this month, which was great! During one long weekend, we took the boys to a children's museum about an hour away from our house. We passed a strawberry field on our way and I said, "Tyler, do you remember when we went there with Miss Christa, Reed, and Lily, and you told Christa there was a baby in my belly?" (This was back in May or June 2015 of course!) Tyler looked at Brady, who was asleep in his carseat, and said, "Yup, and here he is!" :-) That same weekend, Tyler got to go on the metro for the very first time. He and Dan went to see a monster truck show and had so much fun!
Tyler was so happy it snowed one weekend, and even though it was freezing cold, he and Dan went sledding for almost three hours! They ran into his friend Luke, who he had a playdate with this month. :-) We also had a few days of nice weather, so whenever we could, we went to the playground after school. Tyler loves running around with his friends. We went to a new indoor playground that both Tyler and Brady loved! Tyler and Dan also went to an indoor swimming pool one weekend. :-) I had dinner with my friend, Nina, and had my friends Michelle and Angie over one day while Tyler was at school. Tyler got to have a sleepover at my parents' house and loved seeing them multiple times each week! They watched both Brady and Tyler so Dan and I could have a lunch date, which was so nice! :-) Tyler has a new, "cool" haircut and looks adorable!
