Well, September hasn't gone exactly how we thought it would. Tyler enjoyed multiple mountain biking trips - to Bryce with his friend, Leo, and to Taylor Farm to meet a friend, and he took multiple trips to Pocahontas State Park. But unfortunately, during his last trip to Pocahontas, his pedal cut his leg within 10 minutes of arriving. We ended up meeting Dan at the emergency room and Tyler needed 12 stitches. Poor Tyler! He's had three bad injuries in a row - his broken arm in June, his sprained ankle in July, and now this. Mountain biking is definitely an extreme sport! Thankfully he's been able to meet up with friends at Skateland a few times since school started.
Brady enjoyed a trip to Kings Dominion and he's been wanting to go to the neighborhood basketball court a lot. (He loves to go there with my parents!) His favorite place to go, however, is the dump. He likes to bring his old toys and puzzles to throw in the giant trashcans. Thankfully we were able to give a bunch of his toys and old clothes to Harry and Henry (my cousin's boys!)
I got to go out to lunch with my friend Vanessa (twice) and we went shopping as well. I also had lunch with my friends from the school pick up line - Jessica, Daniela, and Jessica.
Making me happy lately...
Pretty skies and clouds...
These clouds look like a dog and a butterfly...
I love the black and white version of the photo of me and Vanessa (from when we went into the city!)...
I thought this photo of Brady and I on the log flume was pretty cute! It was definitely the longest line we've ever been in, but it was worth it in the end...
