More May Photos & Videos

This month has definitely been busy!  There have been birthday parties, birthday lunches, a festival in the city, and a lot of mountain biking for Tyler.  Brady has enjoyed many trips to the playground, too.

Tyler went mountain biking with a pro, and was one of the youngest riders in the group…

I liked both my hair and my makeup one day…

Brady’s Field Trip

Brady and I went on his school field trip to Henricus.  We were very fortunate to not have really hot weather.  It was definitely a tough field trip for Brady, because it required a lot of sitting still or standing still, and listening.  He found many ways to get movement though, and towards the end, we went to the gift shop and then sat in rocking chairs until his class arrived for a picnic lunch.

He loved riding the bus!  My favorite part was during lunch, when his friend Spencer said, “If Brady is in my class next year, I hope I get to sit next to him,” and then his friend, Carter, said, "Me too!”  The grandma of one of Brady's classmates told me that she thought it was so sweet that Brady said, "No thank you, Mama!"  I told her that is his favorite phrase, and one that he says about 100 times per day!  He says it whenever I ask him to do something that he would rather not do!

It was fun to see Brady in his classroom, too!

May Fun

Brady got invited to two birthday parties this month!  The first party was a laser tag party.  I was a bit nervous letting him go into a dark room with his friends (and the workers) because I had no idea what he would think about laser tag.  But he must have loved it, because as soon as he walked out, he said, "More play?!"  That party was to celebrate his friend Carter's birthday, and the next party is to celebrate his friend, Spencer.

We have loved hearing Brady talk in complete sentences lately.  While on the swing at the playground, he has said, “Can you push me? Push me high!”  When we ask him how his shoulder feels, he says, “It is okay,” or “It is better,” or “Shoulder is okay.”

Making me happy this month…
