Hilton Head

We had such a great week in Hilton Head!  Brady and I weren't planning to go this year, but we decided about two and a half hours before Dan and Tyler were going to leave, that we would come along!  I'm so glad that we did, because we had so much fun, and we didn't see a single alligator!  I knew it was going to be a very hot week whether we stayed at home or went to South Carolina, and I figured it would be very nice to have a pool just steps away.  Brady was the first guest in the pool every morning, usually making it there by 8:20 or 8:30!  (I am SO thankful the pool opened at 8 every morning!)  We went in the ocean on Monday, but everyone had to get out (maybe due to a shark sighting!)  We just let Brady play in the sand after that!  Brady and I got to have lunch with my friend, Chrissy, who was in Hilton Head with her family too!  We ate a lot of yummy seafood, I had multiple pina colidas, and it was such a relaxing week!

I took both boys to Bryce ski resort the Saturday before Father’s Day.  I told Dan that his Father’s Day gift was being home alone for 10 hours that day!   It was definitely a very long day, but Tyler had a great time mountain biking, and Brady was definitely the best brother that day.  Tyler had wanted to stay until five, but Brady started saying, “Go?” at 3:00.  Thank goodness there was a little playground he could use to help pass the time.  We ended up staying until 4:30.  Five days later, Brady and I took a day trip to Northern Virginia.  He got to spend six hours with my parents, while I had a coffee date with my friend, Julie, And then dinner with my friends, Nina and Liz!
