Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving!!  Once again, my parents were amazing hosts and we had a very yummy Thanksgiving meal!  I am so thankful for them and all the hard work they put into having the best Thanksgiving year after year.  Tyler was such a good boy (and much easier than last year!)  He sat at the table like a big boy and ate his meal, and he loved playing with his cousins.  It was so nice to have Dan's mom there with us, as well as my sister-in-law's parents, who were celebrating their 49th wedding anniversary.  Tyler was so sweet, giving everyone hugs.  :-)

Last year Tyler and I made place cards for the table and this year we made new ones!  We are thankful for all of our loved ones.  :-)

Meeting New Babies

This week Tyler got to spend some extra time with his Papa while I took pictures of my friend Shaina's 11 day old baby, Maisie.  They were so, so cute sitting on the "ice cream bench".  He also got to play with Maisie's big sister, Mia.  The next day we got to meet my friend Christa's six day old baby girl, Lily!  While we were driving to their house, Tyler said, "She's very, very tiny."  He loved playing with Lily's big brothers, Reed & Dylan.  :-)  Dan and I enjoyed our first meal alone in a restaurant since August!!  We went to Rio Grande.  :-)  With the colder weather, Tyler and I went inside of "Gaga's school" a few times this week.  Tyler loves seeing the school children, who wave to him and give him hugs.  Everyone was excited to get out of school two hours early.  Tyler said, "Happy Thanksgiving!"  :-)   

A Long Week

This week Tyler had a playdate with his friends Zachary, Baby Austin, Noah, & Baby Alex.  He also attended a birthday party at a bounce house.  He loved the slides & we loved watching him sit at the table like a big boy to have pizza, juice, & a cupcake.  I was especially spoiled this week and had two girls nights - one with my friends Chrissy & Heather & one with my friends Michelle & Jen.  I also did a photo shoot for my friend Angie & her family.  :-)  Tyler was supposed to see his friends Reed & Dylan this week but their mom ended up having their baby sister five weeks early!!  We can't wait to meet Baby Lily.  :-)

A Day With Daddy

For the first time in our eight year relationship, Dan had a holiday off (for Veterans Day) and I had to work.   Tyler and Dan enjoyed their day together.  They went to Hair Cuttery, Moes, & Home Depot.  They also ran around outside & collected leaves.  When I got home, we all went to an indoor playground.  There were only three other children there, so we all took turns going down the inflatable slides.  :-)   

This week my parents had a family party at their house to celebrate my uncle Michael's birthday.  We attempted a "family photo" and Tyler was not very cooperative.  First I chased him, then Dan chased him, then we gave up.  We had a wonderful time seeing so many family members.  :-)  Tyler also had a playdate with Noah, Baby Alex, Zachary, & Baby Austin & one with Reed & Dylan.  He seemed to enjoy our trips to the Dollar Store & Target, where he walked away with $1 prizes for being a good boy in his cart.  :-)

Tyler's new favorite thing to do is to kick off his shoes and pull off his socks every time he is in the car.  Then he laughs hysterically.  He has also started to say, "This is boring!" which makes us laugh.  :-)
