Tyler is 13 Months Old!

This week we went to the neighborhood pier with some of our baby boy friends and we had a playdate with Baby Brian!  We also went to Brooklyn & Baby Jason's house and we participated in a photo shoot with many of our baby friends!  Tyler did not want to sit still for the pictures.  We also had eight of our baby friends over to our house this week. 

Two New Teeth

I just noticed that Tyler has two new teeth coming in on the bottom - poor baby! :-( He has said, "dog" & "nite nite" but his favorite word to say remains "dada".

This week was busy!! We had a playdate with Noah & Zach & we went to the park. Tyler also brought a birthday card to his grandpa! We had a playdate with Brooklyn and Baby Jason, dinner at Julie's house, & we met up with Noah at the pier. We also attended a baby shower for Sophia's mom Mariana, who is due on my birthday. :-) We had dinner with Dan's mom & Dan's cousin, Tuomas, who was visiting from Finland! Tyler and I had a lunch date with my mom at California Pizza Kitchen, then we went to my old school to visit friends & drop off a baby shower gift. Finally, Dan, Tyler, and I spent Saturday in Leesburg. We went to Lola's Cupcakes, had lunch at Lightfoot, and played at the park. Such a fun day!

This was a busy week! In addition to all of the Easter parties, Tyler and I had two trips to our neighborhood fishing pier with friends. Tyler also had a playdate with his baby boy friends, one with Avery & Baby Rylan, & one with Brooklyn & Baby Jason. We also went to Chrissy's house for an Easter playdate and she made an Easter basket for Tyler. :-) I enjoyed a dinner at Melting Pot with friends from my mom's group.

Tyler started waving this week which is adorable! While he typically says, "dada" all day long, he will say, "Mama!" rather forcefully when he wants or needs something. :-)

Happy Easter!

Tyler had a very busy Easter weekend! He had a great time visiting with many family members at my parent's Easter gathering. He had a yummy Easter dinner at Dan's mom's house. Then he spent time with Brayden at Chrissy's parent's Easter brunch. It is no surprise that Easter 2012 will be remembered as the day that Tyler took the longest nap ever. :-)

Birthday Party #3

Our Sweet Boy

This week I spent an entire day with my friend Vanessa in Richmond! It was wonderful :-) I also went with my friend Barbara to visit our friend Shaina and her four week old baby, Mia. She is so tiny & sweet! Tyler and I attended a BBQ at Avery's house and had a great time. He has learned to climb the stairs (which is scary) but he is so proud of himself! He also will say "nana" when he wants to eat a banana, which is his favorite fruit. He was not too crazy at first about the shoes my mom bought for him (he is a size five!) but he seems to be getting used to them and he's doing a great job walking all around. I have suddenly realized that he can follow certain commands, like when I tell him to get a ball or to go to his red truck. SO neat!! :-)
