We had a very exciting two days around here! On Friday, Brady and I went on a field trip to the History & Culture Museum in downtown Richmond. He did an amazing job! There was a lot of sitting still & listening, so his favorite part seemed to be the bus ride. (Early on during the field trip, I told him that we'd be getting on the bus to head back to school at 11:30. So for the rest of the field trip, every few minutes he would say, "Go to bus at 11:30. See what time it is?" and he'd want me to show him the time on my phone. It was so cute!) He liked touching all of the artifacts that we were allowed to touch, like deer antlers. I thought it was so cute that he was wearing his Brady shirt, and his friend, Maggie, was wearing a Maggie Simpson shirt. That night, we took Tyler to the Homecoming football game. Brady did an amazing job, staying through the Homecoming court announcements during halftime. Dan drove Tyler home at the end of the game so Brady and I could go home and go to sleep! The next day, Brady had gymnastics and Tyler and Dan went to Taylor Farm so Tyler could go mountain biking. Then Tyler came home and got ready for the Homecoming dance! He decided to change the pants he had planned to wear at the last minute, but he looked very handsome, and I'm so glad he went! We saw three deer on the way to the dance, as well as the most beautiful sunset!
