We ended the month celebrating Dan`s mom`s birthday! Brady had a rough night and
ended up sleeping through our entire celebration. He did enjoy playing with the truck
his Mummi had brought him once he woke up. My brother Shane turned 40! We left him a
message singing "Happy Birthday" and at the end Tyler said, "We love you Uncle Shane!"
Tyler and I got to have a special date on Saturday. We went to his soccer game, which
was very entertaining. Tyler almost scored twice, and both times he turned toward me and
yelled, "Mom, so close!!" We went out to lunch and to Michaels to add to our collection
of Halloween decorations that we started collecting last year. Our house is looking very
spooky! On Friday, the boys and I played school, which was Tyler`s idea. He was the
teacher and he asked me many questions about cars. I got to move my clip up for good
behavior, and when I`d get a question right, both Tyler and Brady would clap for me. :-)
Tyler even said at one point, "You have made it girl!" Sometimes he'd pretend that Brady
got a question right, and he'd say, "Wow, smarter than a 36 year old!" (I reminded him
that I'm 37.) Tyler has been filling up his new change collector, and already has $100!
He was so cute saying, "cheers!" and picking up his glass during his Mummi's birthday
lunch and our lunch date. :-)
