This month has definitely been nonstop! In addition to spring break, Easter, my dad's 81st birthday, and Brady's field trip to Jamestown, we've spent a ton of time outside. Brady has gotten rid of his little bike and now loves to do "bike jumps" on his bigger bike (which used to be Tyler's bike!) Tyler got to spend time with his friend, Christian, I got to go shopping and out to lunch with my friend, Vanessa, and Dan got to see his friend, Marco. My parents came to see us and to watch Brady so I could attend a meeting at his school, and I had a girls' day with four of my neighbors.
I was a little bit nervous at the start of our Jamestown field trip. Brady loved the bus ride (we got to ride on a brand-new bus that had tvs!) but as soon as we lined up for the two-hour tour, Brady said, "Go back to bus?" Thankfully we had a very nice tour guide, and it wasn't nearly as hot as I was expecting it to be (plus Brady liked staying in the shade!) We got to climb onto one of the boats to see all of the different rooms, and we were so lucky that our last rotation was inside.
Crazy enough, Brady's school has already started their A to Z countdown to the last day of school on Friday, May 29th. They've had stuffed animal day and blue day so far. Brady decided to bring his seal stuffed animal!
Making me happy lately...
