Halloween

Tyler & Brady had a great time trick or treating!  Brady was an adorable care bear & Tyler looked very spooky.  (Tyler of course didn't want his picture taken!)  Dan and Tyler went trick or treating together, since they are very fast and wanted to go around to most of the neighborhood.  Brady and I started out on our own while we waited for our cousins to arrive.  He was a little afraid of the first few spooky houses that we went to!  At one of the houses, scary noises went off as soon as he took a piece of candy, and he went running!

We saw some of his friends then we met up with my cousin Justin, his wife Christine, & their kids Aimee, Harrison, & Henry!  They joined us last year for trick or treating and we love walking around the neighborhood with them!  Since it was a bit darker & gloomier than last year (we even had a little rain!) I wasn't able to get a picture of all of the kids together, but thankfully I got some cute videos!

Some Brady highlights from trick or treating...

-When he knocked on a neighbor's door and a person came out carrying a bowl of candy, Brady tried to take the bowl from him!  (I think he wanted to put the bowl on the front step, since that was the set up he was used to seeing!)

-He tried to close a woman's garage door (while she was sitting inside of her garage passing out candy!)

-Instead of knocking on one door, he tried to open it!  (I quickly yelled, "No, Brady!  Just knock!")

-When we ran into his friend, Koan, Brady reached into Koan's Halloween bag and took a piece of candy!

He had a very busy day going to first grade, then having ABA, & then going trick or treating, but afterwards he said, "So much fun!"  He even wanted to sleep with his candy bag next to him!

Since Brady will be seven next year, I knew that this year was probably his last year to have a costume with a tail!

Brady seemed to really like his costume!  He put it on twice all on his own, but these photos crack me up.  He looks a bit like Grumpy Bear, but he was actually Wish Bear!
