It was such an honor to be a part of my cousin Justin's wedding. He married his love of seven years, Christine, on June 1st. It was my first time being away from Brady for 40 hours, and the first time I have ever stayed in a hotel by myself! My Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dennis hosted a beautiful rehearsal dinner, and I had so much fun on the wedding day as part of Christine's "squad". I loved playing a dance off game with sweet Aimee, getting to chat so much with my cousin Kelly, and getting to know the other bridesmaids. It was such a fun and absolutely beautiful wedding! It was so good to see so many family members, including my parents and my brother, Steven!
I really loved my hair and makeup, thanks to the Glam Squad! I even wore earrings for the first time in almost 10 years!
And I loved spending time with my friend, Vanessa, and her adorable kids before the rehearsal.
And I loved the photos my parents and Dan sent me of my boys when I was gone! Brady spent all day Friday with my parents and spent the night, while Tyler got to enjoy all of Dan's attention, and his Mummi's too. Dan and Kaija had both boys on Saturday and I urged Dan to let Brady nap, no matter what. (I knew that would make for an easier day overall!) Brady eventually fell asleep on the floor in Dan's mancave. He took such a long, late nap (which he's been doing a lot lately) that he was looking out the window when I arrived home from the wedding at midnight! I was excited to get to cuddle with him, because I missed him so much! The next morning, Tyler woke up and saw me and yelled, "Mommy!" :-)
