March Fun

This month Tyler, Dan, and I met Dan's mom for lunch at Rio Grande to celebrate Dan's 41st birthday.  Brady isn't quite ready for restaurants, so my parents kindly watched him while we were gone!  Tyler had his last two basketball practices, and he impressed the person sitting next me with his running skills during a relay race.  I went to a makeup party that my friend, Tara, was hosting, and I had dinner with my friends, Barbara & Leigh.  I also had dinner with my friend, Nina.  Tyler got to attend his friend Sam's 8th birthday party, and I took Tyler and Brady to a book fair at Tyler's school.  Tyler and I also went to Bingo Night.  We all attended a party at my friend Michelle's house.  There were nine little boys running around at the party!  Michelle and I also attended a parenting seminar at one of the elementary schools in our neighborhood.  I took a lot of notes and have been using the tips that were shared.  Tyler and Brady loved spending time with their grandparents this month, and we went to the playground whenever the weather was nice enough.  Brady's sleep and nap schedule were a bit off this month.  He continues to have speech twice a week but will soon be increasing to three times a week.

 I found out that one of my photos made it to round 10 in the shoot & share photo contest!  There are 12 rounds total, and a few years ago I had a sunset photo make it to round nine.  I have been trying for years to beat that photo, which was taken on my old flip phone, and am so happy that a photo (of my wedding and engagement rings) finally did.  :-)

We are loving Brady's big boy room now that we are a crib free house (for the first time in eight years!)
