We had a great Christmas! We knew that Brady would probably wake up before Tyler, since that was typical in late December (though it's changed since then!) so we hid Brady's biggest gift on the first floor so he wouldn't see it. I have a very sad photo of him crying because I wouldn't take him downstairs - poor little guy! Thankfully he quickly found other things to entertain himself with (Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom and his brother's new basketball set to name two!) Before we knew it, Tyler was awake. Tyler knew that he wasn't allowed to come downstairs, so when he yelled to me that he was up, I brought Brady to Dan. While Dan helped the boys get into their special Christmas morning pajamas, I set up Brady's big gift. Blogger isn't letting me post the video of the boys coming downstairs (sad!) but they were adorable when finding their gifts from Santa. :-)
After we opened presents, we spent some time playing outside and then Brady took a nap. When he woke up, my parents arrived and we opened more presents! The boys seemed very happy with their gifts and we loved sitting down all together for lunch. I like to say that my best gift was Dan and Tyler's cooperation when they helped me take an adorable picture of the boys in front of the tree! (Dan made Brady smile!) After that, though, they were done with pictures, so our family picture this year is very funny. :-)
