Back to Work

This week I went back to work!!  First I worked a 12 hour day with my photography idol, shooting a gorgeous wedding!  It was a dream come true for me and a great experience.  I learned that wedding photographers work even harder than I thought they did.  After a day of rest, I started back at work in an elementary school.  I'll be working part-time and am lucky to be working with such a kind & welcoming staff, including my mom!   I was so excited to see Tyler every day after work & to listen to him tell me what he did while I was gone.

Apparently we've said, "Maybe on Saturday" a few times because Tyler has started to say, "Go to zoo on Saturday."  :-)  This week he got to go to the fishing pier, the playground, & the pool.  He also had a playdate with many of his friends to say goodbye to Joey & Baby Joshua before they move.  We will miss having them in our neighborhood but are happy they will still be close enough that we'll get to see them!  He also had a playdate with his friends Colin, Ella, Emma, & Baby Charlotte.  He got to spend time with all of his grandparents, which always makes him very happy!

Tyler has started to say, "how about..." quite a bit.  One day we were standing in my closet & I said, "What should I wear, Tyler?" (not really expecting a response).  Tyler said, "How about...this one" and he grabbed a Redskins sweatshirt.  :-)  It was a bit too hot to wear that, but I appreciated his help.  We pulled this first Halloween costume (a puppy!) out of the closet & he had fun trying it on for a few minutes!
