September Fun

I can't believe the boys have already had four weeks of school!  I've been amazed by how well Tyler has adjusted to going to high school.  He's still been mountain biking whenever possible.  He also went to Sky Zone with friends and attended a football game at his high school.  Dan, Brady, and I attended a fundraising event for Brady's gymnastics gym & went out to dinner.  The boys all went to Taylor Farm one day and Brady loved biking there for the first time!  He also loved going to the dump with Dan & then to CVS.  I got to have a lunch and shopping date with my friend, Vanessa!

I got my hair fixed after accidentally dying it bluish black (oops!)  I had also gotten an uneven haircut a few months ago, so my hair stylist evened out the length.  I haven't had it this short in about six years (if not longer!) and definitely plan to grow it out from here!

I panicked a little at first, because my new hair color looks SO different depending on the light.  In the first picture I took after my appointment, it looked blonde...

But in darker lighting it looks dark brown...

I'm really happy to have it all even, in terms of both the color & the length, and I'm excited to have found someone to work with!

Also making me happy lately...

Brady was the best helper when we worked on a big mulch project...

I love this photo that I took of my new best friend in the neighborhood...

Brady's chalk art...

This cloud picture that (to me) has a butterfly, an angel, and a dog...

And this one with a butterfly & heart...

Walk photos...

Having fresh flowers in the house...

I love this video of Brady at school!  He loves using a calculator...

Go Brady!!

Skye was so cute watching Tyler leave for school...

Chloe is so sweet…

Happy Birthday, Gaga!

We are wishing a very happy birthday to my mom today!  We are so glad we got to help her celebrate her special day!  She brought photos she recently got from my Aunt Marilyn, some of which I had never seen before!  It was so fun to look through them and I especially love this photo of my mom and her big sister, Brenda Kae.

I love that there was a double rainbow today on her birthday...

I like to think that was a special "wink from heaven" from my Grannie and Aunt Brenda!
