Spring

Spring is finally here and so far it's been a very busy season!  We love having my parents visit us every week and a half.  Now that Brady has graduated from ABA, he & Tyler & I have been going to a local park once a week (where Tyler can go mountain biking!)  We have also been going to Sky Zone once a week so Tyler can flip & Brady can bounce.  (I have been telling him that he cannot flip backwards until he is at least 13!)  Brady & I attended a special breakfast for his "house" (the orange house, Nukumori) at his school!  He also enjoyed pajama day at school!  Skye has been looking so cute while sitting in his favorite little chair!

I realized that Brady has now spent more of his life living in Richmond than in Northern Virginia...

Getting to see family members...

We got to see my brother Shane & my sister-in-law, Kristen, while we attended a gymnastics meet where my niece, Julia, was competing.

We also loved having a visit from my cousin, Christian...

And we had a great visit with Dan's mom, Kaija...

Happy 47th Birthday to Dan!

 

We love Dan and are so thankful he was born 47 years ago!  We can't wait to celebrate his birthday with him!

There's been a lot of snow this month & a lot of days off from school for the boys!  They ended up having a five day weekend, which started with snow and ended with a day that felt like spring!

Making me happy this month...

Brady graduated from his ABA center!  He spent almost four years working one on one with different behavior technicians (all of whom were wonderful!)  He most recently worked with Miss Bre, who made him special cupcakes on his last day.  They had a special graduation party for him and even gave him a graduation cap!  It amazes us how much he has grown since he started at ABA, and we are so thankful to everyone who worked with him over the years.  Everyone was so kind and wonderful! 

Brady had an assignment recently where he had to brainstorm where he'd be in 2042.  He will be 27 years old, and when I asked him where he'd be living, he said South Riding.  (We had just been looking at photos of our old house in South Riding!)  I asked him where he'd be working & he said, "At the library!"  If you ask him where Dan works, he always says, "At the library," so it is SO cute that he wants to work at the same place where his dad works.  (Dan works from home but often goes to the library for some peace & quiet!)
