June Fun

The boys have spent the first half of June spending as much time outside as possible!  Dan and Tyler spent a night in Harrisonburg so they could go biking in Massanutten.  Tyler had so much fun!  I'm pretty sure they biked 15 miles in one day.  Brady and I spent the night at my parents' house & he had so much fun with his Gaga and Papaw!  I got my hair cut and had dinner with my friend, Chrissy!  We also had a visit from my cousin, Christian, & my aunt, Barbara!  I've been trying to read as much as possible & I’ve been watching the gymnastics competitions leading up to the Olympics!

Brady got to go to the pool three days in a row (Tyler went two out of the three!)  So far he seems much easier at the pool compared to last summer, so we may have to buy pool memberships going forward.  (Because he definitely wants to go every single day!)

I love the artwork Brady made at my parents' house...

And my haircut...

Tyler and Brady love the water slide at the pool…

The Last Day of School

For the first time ever (for us), the last day of school was in May!  Tyler finished up his seventh grade year on Friday, May 24th.  Brady had four half days after Memorial Day, so his last day of second grade was May 31st.  Tyler earned a special academic award, and Brady received a class clown award (no surprise there!)

Tyler brought home amazing artwork in his portfolio...

I can't get over these comparison photos of Brady...

While Brady was enjoying his last day of school, I took Tyler to his 13 year doctor appointment.  We found out that he is 5’8” tall (3 inches taller than me!) and he grew 6 inches in the last year!  I can’t believe how much more grown-up he looks now compared to his first day of seventh grade…

I love this photo of my boys on the official last day of school...

We love seeing Brady’s papers from school…

When Brady had my phone one day this week, I saw that he had typed, “third grade”…
