Poor Tyler had the flu last week & missed two days of school.  Thankfully, I was able to get him a doctor's appointment and the medicine he was given helped him feel better by Thanksgiving.  He spent multiple days resting & sleeping & Skye rarely left his side.

One day when I was driving Brady from school to ABA, he started singing a song.  I assumed he had learned the song from school, but then I realized he was singing, "You Are My Sunshine," which I have been singing to him since he was a baby.  I love that we can sing the song together now!

We've also been singing a song that I believe I learned on Full House many, many years ago...

Brady's First Field Trip!

 

Brady and I had so much fun on his very first field trip!  I went to his classroom at around 8:45 and then we waited with his classmates for the bus.  Brady seemed to love the bus ride!  He wasn't too happy when we had to wait to go into the building, but overall he did very well!  There was a huge climbing structure that he loved, and different animals to see.  I got to chat with Colton's mom while Brady went to a special presentation with his teachers & classmates.  He even got to touch a turtle!  After that, we all got back on the bus for a short ride to a farm.  It was a cold morning but thankfully the sun was out & it warmed up so we could have a picnic lunch.  After that, we looked at farm animals, Brady ran around a play area with his friends, & then he ran & rolled down a giant hill with his friend, Charlie.  The whole area was so, so pretty!  Charlie wanted to sit with Brady on the way back to school & he told his mom that Brady is his best friend!  :-)

After we returned to school, we said goodbye to everyone & then we went to Starbucks before Brady fell asleep in the car.  It was a good thing ABA was canceled because we both ended up napping until Tyler got home from school!  It was such a fun field trip and I'm so glad I got to go with Brady!
