Snow!

The boys were very excited to see snow when they woke up this past Monday morning!  Tyler ended up going outside twice that day & Brady went out three or four times.  The following day, the sun was shining & the snow was perfect for making a snowman.  We used the "Make a Snowman" kit my Aunt Barbara had given the boys to decorate our little snowman.  My parents were able to come visit on Wednesday which allowed me to take a much needed nap!  By Thursday, I hadn't been in a car in four days so I was more than ready to listen to my morning show & drive to Starbucks!

Even More December Pictures & Videos

I must admit, now that the boys are officially on the world's longest winter break of all time (24 days for Brady & 23 days for Tyler), photos from Christmas & December seem like they are from ages ago.  We weren't expecting to have snow on what should have been the boys' first day back at school & we were definitely shocked that they ended up having the entire week off.  But I can't wait to share snow pictures!

Brady has been talking so much!  He now says, "music!" whenever we are in the car.  He has started saying, "tik tok" even though I am certain he doesn't know what it is.  He has asked for tissues, chocolate, and apples.  In fact, I said, "You want an apple?" and he said, "I want an apple." :-)

He says, "more skateboard" and "more scooter" and "call people".  He called a friend and former co worker of mine at least three times, including once at 5:58 am!  He has successfully called his Gaga as well.  I have been trying to only let him watch his Ba Ba Black Sheep & Rainbow Drawing shows on our tv.  If he uses my phone to watch them, eventually he will take the phone a few steps away from me, start grinning, & make a phone call!  I can tell he is anxious to get back to kindergarten because he has said, "kindergarten" over and over again.  He also put his backpack on one day.  When he passed the gas station we pass on the way to gymnastics, he said, "nastics!"  After having a three week break from all of his activities (except for three ABA sessions) I can tell he is ready to get back on schedule!

This first video is actually from January, but I love how Brady loves to practice saying the words that he knows how to spell.  (He also likes to trace the letters with his finger!)
