Brady's First Day of Kindergarten!

Brady's preschool teacher, Miss Rachel, met us at Brady's new school for his orientation, which was SO sweet!  

First day of school!!!

We can't believe Brady is officially a kindergartener!  We are so excited for him!  It is so fun that he can say, "kindergarten!" & say it so clearly too.  Thankfully he slept well the night before his first day, but he still fell asleep in the car as soon as I picked him up!  His special education teacher, Miss Kendra, was so kind to send me photos of him from his first day!  It looked like he had a lot of fun & adjusted to his new environment (and all the new people!)  His teacher said he followed directions very well!

My Mom's Birthday

 

We are wishing a very happy birthday to my sweet, wonderful, beautiful mom today!!!  We had so much fun celebrating her earlier this week!  Even Skye came down for the party.  (Tyler recently said, "He's becoming a loud cat.")  :-)  We all enjoyed taste testing three different kinds of cookies from Crumbl!

Happy Birthday, Mom!  We love you!

Skye spent a week and a half with my parents while we were on vacation. (Tyler went to Northern VA with them & spent the first night at their house so Skye could get used to his new surroundings, which was so sweet!)  I'm sure Skye was excited to see my parents again!

These photos & the expressions on Tyler & Brady crack me up!!  (The first photo was taken during our celebration of my parents' 45th wedding anniversary in July.)  They smiled throughout the visit (I promise!) just not in these pictures.  I was talking to Dan about it & he said, "Remember, most people don't like pictures.  YOU like pictures."  I replied, "I like taking pictures.  I don't love being in the photos myself..." & he said, "Bingo."  :-)

We loved hearing Brady sing "Happy Birthday to Gaga", & we always love hearing him say his name!
