I probably should have chosen, "Trying to Keep Brady Entertained" as the title of this blog post. :-)
He always wants to be out spying on the neighbors (patiently waiting to watch a garage door go up or down!) despite the heat. (It's that time of year where, if I'm not at the pool, I prefer to be inside with the air conditioning on low!) His new favorite things are to wash Dan's car & climb trees. He also still loves bubbles, painting, car trips (especially to go see the tractors!), and trips to the playground! He loves his new rocking chair (I love when he chooses to sit in it rather than on it!) and the movie, Sing. I think of him as a ballet director when we watch Sing. If we don't dance correctly or say the right words during various parts of the movie (or even the commercials!) he brings us the tv remote so we can hit "rewind" and try again. He is SO funny! He still likes watching Little Baby Bum too. :-)
We could tell that Brady was desperate to go swimming when he started taking his swim vest on walks. :-) Funny enough, he will wear the swim vest to the pool, but then he takes it off before going into the water. He moves all around the pool (with me shadowing him of course!)
Brady actually had a successful "no nap" day yesterday, but then last night he slept less than ten hours. Brady!!! I am certain I could sleep 14 hours straight if given the chance, especially after these past four months! ;-)
I accidentally took this picture but I think it's so, so cute!!
Brady saw a worker riding a lawn mower to cut the grass behind our house, so he decided that he wanted to sit on his lawnmower, too! :-)
