August Fun

This month Tyler had some really fun outings!  He took a trip to the zoo again, this time with his Gaga and Papaw.  He also spent time at their house, playing and cuddling with Jenna the cat.  Tyler calls her his best friend!  One of his favorite things to do after visiting with her, is to go with my parents to the playground at the school where my mom works!  Brady was very busy with speech this month, and is using his adorable voice more and more.

Tyler had a playdate with his friend, Sam,  and we had his friend, Kenny, and Kenny's sister, Ava, over to play one day.  I met my friends, Angie and Michelle, at the pool one day, which was probably my most relaxing experience of the summer!  I also had a coffee date with my friend, Barbara.  We took the boys to various playgrounds, including trips to their favorite indoor playground when it was too hot to be outside.  Tyler attended gymnastics camp and had a lot of fun.

Brady said "dada" a whole lot this month, and he has started doing the cutest thing ever.  He will give us kisses then afterwards he will pat or rub our heads!  Or sometimes he will gently touch our cheek.  He has always been a cuddle bug but we just love how affectionate he is being.  He will also walk up to us when we are standing and he will give us hugs.  He is so precious!

Here are photos of Brady with his speech teacher!

Brady always looks so sweet while sleeping!

We love watching our boys play together!

We loved our brown rug so much that we decided to buy the bigger version!

I'm still getting used to my short hair!  It hasn't been this short in many years!

Celebrating Our Anniversary

Dan had to work on 8/8/19, our ten year wedding anniversary, but he came home with flowers, which was so, so sweet!  I remember after our wedding, when we got to our hotel room, there were beautiful red roses waiting for me.  :-)

One of my favorite moments on our anniversary was driving Tyler to camp.  I was telling him about our wedding day, and the song I sang during our reception (which we consider to be our wedding song!)  I started singing the song and Tyler clapped and started singing along too.  Even Brady seemed to be singing along at one point!  It was the sweetest moment.  :-)

My mom and Brady played with chalk and my dad picked Tyler up from camp, so I could get my hair cut.  Two days later, we dropped Brady off at my parents' house, then dropped Tyler off with Dan's mom, and we checked into a hotel.  It was our first child free night together since the night before Brady was born!  It was so nice to be able to relax, go out to dinner, and celebrate ten years of marriage!
