Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day weekend!  Dan, Tyler, Brady, and I celebrated on Friday night by ordering in and relaxing, which was a great way to start the weekend.  On Saturday, Tyler, Brady, and I visited my parents at their house while Dan was helping a friend.  We had a great time celebrating with them, and visiting with Jenna the cat!  Then on Mother's Day, Dan & Tyler went to the new rec center in our neighborhood to swim, while Brady and I went to the library.  Dan's mom came over for lunch then we drove to a park to play.  I had a feeling Brady was going to fall asleep in the car on the way (which he did!) so I brought a book to read in the car, which was very relaxing!  :-)  Dan, Kaija, and Tyler got some yummy ice cream and Brady and I played outside at home until they came back.  It was a fun, relaxing weekend!

I always love the adorable Mother's Day notes and artwork that come home from school!  I especially love when Tyler answers questions about me.  I said, "Tyler!  Mommy is 37!"  :-)  He did a great job on his special notes for his grandmas too.  :-)

My Favorite Photos as a Mom :-)

I remember shortly before I had Brady, I looked through all of my favorite pictures of me & Tyler.  I couldn't believe there was going to be another little person in my life!  I thought right now would be a great time to add to the album.  Looking at these pictures of me (my absolute favorites as a mom!) makes me so, so happy and so very thankful to have these two little guys in my life.

The first picture is the day Dan and I found out that we were expecting Tyler!  And the second picture was my very first belly shot when I was pregnant with Tyler (I believe at 18 weeks!)  I treasure all of these photos and am so thankful to everyone who captured these moments of me with my boys!
