We love our boys!!

Brady is 11 Months Old!

Our sweet Brady is 11 months old today!!!  Unfortunately, he is still sick, so I won't be doing any of his monthly photos until he is feeling better.  Thankfully, he slept better last night, and we hope he will start feeling better each day.

Brady is starting to take steps!!  When he's hanging on to the side of his playpen and we open our arms out and say, "Walk to me Brady!" he takes one or two steps then grabs onto our arms!  It's so exciting!  He has five teeth (we are hoping the sixth one comes through soon because we know it's bothering him).  He's been wearing size 18 month pants for awhile now, but over the past week I've packed away most of his 12 month tops.  One shirt I'll miss the most is a blue shirt that belonged to my nephew, Ben!  Brady was so tiny the first time he wore it!  He was 20 lbs 13 oz. at his doctors appointment yesterday, and we can't believe how much he's changed.  We love him so much!!

Videos & A Crazy Week

This picture pretty much sums up our week (poor Bray!)  Going into this week, I was worried about how hectic and crazy it was going to be.  I had NO idea that Brady would have a bad reaction to his second flu shot, that we would all get sick, and that we'd have car issues too.  It seemed like one thing after the next and I'm so glad it's a new week!

On a positive note, my parents watched Brady so I could visit Tyler at school for a special event for the parents.  I loved every minute of it, and we love the poem he learned at school!  Despite crazy wind this weekend, I was able to do my last 2016 photo shoot yesterday morning and we had perfect weather.  I planned to do two photo shoots during Brady's first year and I did twelve!  Next year, I've promised everyone, I'm only doing two!  :-)  Over the past eight weekends, six of them revolved around photo shoots, including our own family shoot.  We got to see more of our photos this week, and there are so many that I love!!  :-)

Our Boys

This week Tyler lost his first tooth!!  I haven't been able to get a good picture of him yet (He does not love photos right now and actually ran away multiple times during our twenty minute family photo shoot!  Don't worry, Mom...Dan ran after him!)  With a new haircut and a missing tooth, he looks SO big!  Brady has two more teeth coming in on top so very soon he will have SIX teeth!  :-)

Family Time & A New Trick

The boys always love to see their grandparents!!  Tyler finished up his soccer season and had a lot of fun.  He plans to play again in the spring.  We met up with my sister in law, Kristen, and my niece, Julia, at a farm that Tyler loves.  It was a very warm day and Brady loved standing in the grass!  When we set up his playpen in a rectangular shape for him to use his walker, we discovered that he now understands the word, "turn" and will turn around on his own to keep walking!  :-)

When my favorite photographer announced she'd be doing fall mini photo shoots on Nov. 5th, the 11 year anniversary of the day Dan & I met, I knew we had to sign up!  It's been two and a half years since we've worked with her, and I am so happy to have photos of us with Brady!  We love the sneak peeks and can't wait to see the rest!

 

  None of us are sure how we ever did a two hour photo shoot when Tyler was three!  Twenty minutes of photographs was definitely more than enough for my boys!!  :-)
