Timmy & Tommy

Tyler has two "gogs" who he has named "Timmy" and "Tommy".  We used to be able to tell the two apart but now they look very similar.  Timmy & Tommy were laying next to each other in the kitchen and Tyler said, "the brothers are sleeping together".  :-)  This week Tyler has started to say "me" if I show him a picture of himself & ask who the little boy is.  In the past he would always say, "Ty Ty".  :-)  He has been saying, "oh" nonstop.  "Tyler, your truck is over there..."  "Oh!"  He is so funny.  :-) 

He had a playdate with his friend Noah & Baby Alex, a playdate with his friends Colin, Ella, Emma, & Baby Charlotte, and a pajama party with Noah, Baby Alex, Zachary, & Baby Austin.  We also took a trip to his favorite mall where he got to ride in the "choo choo" (he kept saying, "Thank you Mommy" & giving me kisses) & the carousel.  He got to spend lots of time with Dan and he had a slumber party at my parents house (which he loved!) while I was in Richmond.  I loved spending time with my friend Vanessa and her husband, Adam.  I also got to attend a photography question & answer session, where I unexpectedly found myself in front of the camera.  

More Halloween Pictures

Tyler did such a great job trick or treating!!  We were soooo happy that Dan was able to join us this year!  :-)  Tyler did have to be distracted with m&ms to be able to get his costume on, but once it was on, he never took his hat off & he never pulled on his bowtie.  He did a great job saying, "trick or treat" and "thank you".  Two people on our street said that Tyler's costume was their favorite.  :-)  After about 15 homes or so, Tyler said, "let's go home" so we did.  :-)

Making the Ice Cream Truck

 Tyler loved standing in his ice cream truck and having Dan and I buy ice cream.  Since we made the ice cream truck weeks in advance, it slowly started to fall apart, so we decided to keep the front part and lean it against an end table.  Tyler still stands behind his truck and sells his ice cream.  :-)  (Always for three or four dollars!!)

Happy Halloween!!!

I thought Tyler would be a mailman for Halloween this year, but after seeing the ice cream man driving around our neighborhood this summer, Tyler decided that he wanted to be "an ice cream man with an ice cream truck".  :-)  We worked many Sundays on his ice cream truck, buying supplies at the Dollar Store and Michaels, and we searched google images for pictures of all of the different kinds of ice cream.  He was an adorable ice cream man and so happy!  :-)

 

Busy Busy

This week it felt like Tyler and I were moving nonstop!  We went on a lunchdate, to the library, to a pond, to the mall, to the grocery store (twice!), the dry cleaners, & to a Halloween party where Tyler got to see many of his friends.  :-)  Tyler got new shoes while we were at the mall & was a very good boy in his stroller.  :-)  I also did a photo shoot for a middle school friend & her family.  When I was pregnant with Tyler, she was due four days before me.  I ended up having Tyler on her due date, while she had a little girl named Taylor three weeks earlier.

Today Tyler randomly ran over to me to give me a hug and he said, "You're my best friend." :-)  He is such a sweet boy!  Every day he will say, "Mama cuddle bug" letting me know he wants to cuddle.  He's also been saying, "It's a sunny day!  And I love it!" which cracks Dan and I up.  :-)  We are so excited to take him trick or treating tomorrow!!! 

Baby Liam is Here!! :-)

This week Dan's sister gave birth to Baby Liam!!  Tyler is very excited to have a new cousin and Dan and I are thrilled to have another nephew.  He is adorable & Caroline & Brian will be wonderful parents!!  We were busy this week!  Tyler got to see his friends Lucas & Baby Noah!  He also attended Avery's 3rd birthday party which had a Halloween theme.  We went to Babies R Us, where Tyler enjoyed riding the toy car (twice).  :-)  We also went to a farm & my friend Julie came over for dinner.  I did a photo shoot for my friend Leigh & her family.

Tyler loves saying, "I don't know" and "I'm not sure" if you ask him a question.  :-)   

Fall Colors :-)

Tyler loves to kiss trees...I have no idea why he started doing this.  :-)  The trees are so pretty this time of year!!  He's grown so much since last year!
