More July Fun!

Poor Brady…he is stuck wearing a boot for 3.5 weeks.  Last Tuesday, we went to the pool, and he and Tyler were jumping into the deep end over and over again.  I watched as Brady had an “off” jump.  I could tell he had gotten hurt, but I didn’t know where exactly.  Once I reached him, he let me know it was his foot.  Once we got home, I saw that his big toe was swollen, so we went to urgent care for x-rays.  That Friday we saw an orthopedist, and it’s possible Brady has a slight fracture in his big toe.  The good news is, he's in good spirits, he doesn't seem to have any pain anymore, and he’ll be able to return to gymnastics soon.  And he should be boot free by the time we go to the beach!

Brady and I traveled to my parents’ house & I got to have a coffee date with my friend, Julie, and a lunch date with my friend, Katie.  I also got to have a dinner date recently with my friend, Ji!

My parents celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this month, and it's almost my brother Steven's 41st birthday!

I was very excited to win Brady a prize from the claw machine, when we took Tyler and his friend James to Sky Zone…

I loved all the green in my parents' backyard!  I thought it looked so pretty in their window...

When dying my hair recently, I accidentally made it a bit too dark with a bluish tint (in certain lighting!) - oops!  Funny now!

I am convinced that one day I will find the perfect color, but for now the search continues...

Tyler has been doing a lot of mountain biking this month and he’s very excited about a brand new skate park that opened up…

July Photos & Videos

Brady had a second week of summer camp, and the theme was, “Olympic Week!”  Both boys had fun playing at Dave and Busters, and Brady was thrilled to get to see fireworks on the Fourth of July.  (The neighborhood next to ours had really nice ones we could watch from the safety of our car!)  It is very obvious that Skye is relieved to have Tyler back home!

Summer Fun

Dan and Tyler had a great time on their fourth annual “Bro Trip” to Hilton Head!  (They have gone in 2020, 2021, 2023, and now 2024…Brady and I went with them in 2022!)  They had a lot of fun going to be beach, going to the pool, playing putt putt golf, and going to various restaurants.  Brady and I had a successful “staycation “ at home, which included four days of summer camp (for him!)  We also loved watching the gymnasts compete in the Olympic trials!  

We are all looking forward to going to the beach together in August!  Brady, especially, can’t wait to play in the ocean!  We can’t believe the boys’ summer vacation is almost halfway over.  Tyler has been going mountain biking most days, while Brady has loved spending time at the pool and at various playgrounds (plus gymnastics on Saturdays!)
