Even More November Photos

Brady & Tyler both got to attend birthday parties this month!  Tyler went out to birthday dinner with a group of friends & Brady got to attend his friend Aidan's birthday party at Defy.

Making me happy this month...

Brady's adorable turkey & artwork...

I came across this photo of Brady (though I'm not sure when it was taken!) looking so precious...

I was texting with Tyler one afternoon & Brady got ahold of my phone & decided to send some texts of his own...

New pillows...

Since we got a family photo on Thanksgiving, I now have 18 photos to represent the 18 years Dan & I have been together...

Thanksgiving!

We had a such a great time celebrating Thanksgiving with my parents and my brother, Steven!  My mom always does an amazing job on the food and my dad is a trooper driving to our house on Thanksgiving.  We love spending the holiday with them!  My dad and Steven got to see Tyler perform mountain biking jumps (wild ones!) in our neighborhood, and Brady loved going to the playground with my parents.  Brady made adorable signs and put them on display all on his own!

It's always nice having the house clean (even if it's brief!) and decorated (even if it's minimal!)...

I love these comparison photos of Brady SO much...

I had forgotten that Brady wore a plaid teal shirt last year on Thanksgiving too...

I'm so glad we finally got a family photo, even if the boys didn't smile...

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...

I know...it's not even Thanksgiving yet!  I don't like the idea of having a Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving day, but...as I kept seeing more and more people putting up their trees, I was becoming very envious!  So I decided on a compromise...I decided that I would only decorate Brady's room before Thanksgiving (and I added a very small Christmas tree in our loft!)  But downstairs, where we will celebrate Thanksgiving, there isn't a Christmas decoration in sight.

I loved doing a little Christmas photo shoot with Skye yesterday!  He didn't love his new Christmas tree hat, so I put it on a stuffed animal instead.  He got a number of treats during his photo shoot, so he was a happy boy overall.  I am guessing he may be the most cooperative person in my house when it comes to Christmas photos (though Brady should be a close second!)

As for decorating downstairs & putting up our big tree, I plan to do it midday on Thanksgiving, which is what I did last year!  Dan would prefer to have no decorations up until Dec. 10th, but that is not going to happen!
