November Fun So Far

 

Earlier this month, the boys got to have a five day break from school.  (Tyler actually had six days off!)  Brady has been busy with school, ABA, & gymnastics.  He got an adorable haircut and had his best behavior yet!  (He didn't even need a lollipop until after his cut was done!)  He also attended a birthday party for one of his classmates!  He loved running around with his friends & was so fun to watch.  I wish I had a video of him singing his heart out during the happy birthday song, because it was the cutest!

Tyler is very busy with middle school & mountain biking!  He has gotten interested in graffiti art and practices in his sketch book for art class!

We all agree that our favorite day of the week is Wednesday, because that is the day that my mom and dad visit!

Beautiful skies & a rainbow in our neighborhood (after we had a tornado warning!)

Brady was SO funny when we arrived at the birthday party.  When he saw the bounce house, he immediately took off his shoes & went running towards it.  Later on, when he finished eating a snack, he handed his trash to his friend Colton's mom!

Seeing pictures & a video that Dan took of Tyler on his new mountain bike (an early Christmas gift!) This bike is especially good for jumping!

Brady and I love walking or driving by our neighbor's house because they already have Christmas lights & decorations up!  Brady has been singing, "Oh Christmas Tree" around the house, even though we don't have ours up yet.  I am determined not to put out a single decoration until after we celebrate Thanksgiving!  I am glad it's early this year, though, so that the Christmas season won't feel as rushed!

A Tyler Update!

 

Tyler definitely seems like a teenager!  He went to a dance at his school & the very next night he went to a party at one of his new friend's houses.  He did a great job during his first quarter of school, earning all As and Bs, & he continues to love mountain biking.  He and Dan have still been going at least once a week, even though the weather has gotten cold.  He loves sleeping in on weekends & when he has a day off from school.  He is definitely a night owl, and he really loves his cat!

A Brady Update!

 

Brady has been very into repeating what we say lately.  I love this at bedtime when I say, "Good night angel," and he says, "Goodnight angel," in his adorable, six year old voice.  Then I'll say, "I love you angel," and he'll say, "I love you angel."

There are certain things that Brady tends to say over and over again.  They include...

"Meatballs all gone.  All in my belly."

"Horseys go night night."  (We pass many horses on the way to school each day!)

"Chippys all gone." (Meaning his bag of chips from Panera!)

"Oh no!  It dropped!  Whoops!"  (He says this whenever he drops anything!)

When Tyler & Dan are gone, Brady will say, "Dada?" and I'll say, "He took Tyler somewhere," and then Brady will say, "He'll be back."

He still says, "At the library!" whenever we ask him where Dan works.  :-)

When we were leaving the house one day, he said, "Bye bye Skye Skye!  Bye bye kitty cat!"

If we ask him who drinks coffee, he says, "Brady!"

When we were leaving the doctor's office & he saw a baby crying, he said, "Baby sad!"

He always says, "Tyler?" when we are on the way to school because he was used to Tyler being with us last year.  I always say, "Where does Tyler go?" and he says, "To middle school!"

We were so proud of Brady for earning this award at school!
