September

Tyler and Brady have definitely been very busy this month!  Tyler has been adjusting to middle school and going to his mountain biking club three times a week!  Brady has been loving first grade & continuing to do a great job at gymnastics, swim, & ABA.  I haven't had much luck getting pictures of Tyler & Dan this month, but Skye has been cooperative!

The First Day of School

 

Brady had his first day of first grade yesterday & Tyler had his first day of middle school!  Poor Brady was SO tired when I woke him up (despite getting up fairly early all summer!)  He had very sleepy eyes for his pictures on the front step!  (And as soon as we walked out of the house, he said, "Tyler?" because he's used to Tyler being with us!)  But once we made it to the car line, he had a big smile!  He was in a great mood after school but was definitely ready to go home & spend some time on his scooter!

Tyler did much better getting up in the morning than I thought he would (since he slept in all summer!)  Dan made sure that he got on his bus & we all couldn't wait to see him once he got home.  (He gets home much later than he did last year!)  He didn't want any pictures and didn't want to hold his sign, so I sneakily placed it on the front step.  I took pictures when he and Dan (who had the day off!) left to go to the skate park...

I was so excited when I went on the facebook page for Tyler's middle school & I saw a photo of him!

The End of Summer

 

Tyler & Brady finished up the summer with lots of mountain biking (for Tyler), park time & a hair cut (for Brady), shopping trips to Target, & school orientation!

Brady's ABA teacher & I were SO excited when he read, Brown Bear, Brown Bear to us!  A few days later I was able to catch him reading the book on video!

I also caught him singing more words of, "Jesus Loves Me!"

Brady was so cute saying all of the numbers on the calendar when he was at orientation...
