Beach Trip

 

We had a great time at the beach with Dan's mom, his sister Caroline, our brother in law, Brian, & our nephew, Liam!  We arrived on Sunday afternoon & Tyler was very impressed with our fancy hotel room!  Both boys wanted to head down to the pool, and soon they were joined there by Liam!  After our pool time, we all had dinner together at the hotel's restaurant.  We were all impressed with Brady's excellent behavior while waiting for his food!  Caroline took five of the photos included on this blog, including the one of Tyler, Liam, & Brady with their Mummi from our first night!

We packed a lot into our days at the beach!  We played in the sand, the waves, and the pool (which had the most beautiful view of the bay!)  We also went to a jump place two days in a row!  We had a beautiful evening & lighting for beach photos & we got to see the most beautiful sunset from our balcony!

August Fun

 

This month has been very hot!  Recently the weather has been cooler, and I am so happy!  We can't believe in less than four weeks, the boys will be back in school.

13 Years!

 

Earlier this week, Dan and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary!  It was a bit of a crazy day, but also a good one!  Tyler got to go to Kings Dominion with his friend, Cannon (and Cannon's mom & brother!)  Brady got to spend lots of time with my parents while I got my hair highlighted for the first time in 14 or 15 years!  Dan was working all day & Brady had an ABA session at our house, so there was a lot going on!  There was also a situation involving police that was going on near the Starbucks Brady and I went to in the morning, which added to the craziness of the day!  

A few days before our anniversary, Brady stayed with my parents so Dan, Tyler, & I could go out to lunch.  We let Tyler choose a restaurant, and he chose Red Robin!  On our actual anniversary, it was a very hot day & we spent the evening watching our boys ride bikes (& Tyler even did some stunts!)  Overall, it was a fun anniversary!
