Little Feet Meet

Brady and I got to attend the Little Feet Meet (which we actually called, the "Big Feet Meet") with his classmates!  Brady got to ride a real school bus for the first time!  He and his classmates got quite a send off at their school & it was so touching to see all of the photos on Facebook.  I met them at the location of the event, & was able to stay with Brady as soon as he exited the bus.  He was VERY interested in the "ice cream truck" & couldn't stop talking about it during the opening ceremony.  We got to briefly see Brady's preschool teachers from last year, Miss Rachel & Miss Sarah.  It was so good to see them & so cute when they both yelled, "Brady Blue!" which is a nickname I use for Brady quite often!  After we took a photo as a group, Brady decided to skip the first event & go to the ice cream truck!  Then we participated in a running race.  After that, Brady decided he was ready for some jumping & it was so sweet to see his classmates join him!  He came home with me after the event & we got to ride in his friend Weston's car because I accidentally parked about a mile from the stadium!

More April Photos & Videos

This month Tyler and the entire fifth grade at his school had a field trip to the D.C. Zoo!  He had a lot of fun, especially on the bus!  We've been able to spend a lot of time outside this month, & Brady is loving his new gymnastics center!  (He still has a lot of the same coaches he had at his last center, but they've moved to a new location!)

Making me happy this month...

These comparison photos that popped up on my phone...

Pretty pink clouds...

Close up pictures (& wearing "real" clothes at least a few times this month)...

School work & photos...

Organizing closets (with Skye's help)...

When I tell Brady that it's time to go inside or time to go to sleep, he tends to make a very loud noise in protest.  I tell him that the babies in the neighborhood are already sleeping so he should tell them sorry for being so loud.  Hearing him say, "Sorry babies," is so cute!  It's also cute that he said his Mummi's name at the end!

Every time we drive over 95 when leaving our neighborhood, Brady looks north & says, "Gaga Papi's house!"

Brady always says that he wants to go to kindergarten...
