I am so glad that Tyler had a chance to play with our new splash pad before he broke his wrists. He had a lot of fun running around our backyard. Because we were all sharing a car for a few days, I got to go with Dan to drop Tyler off at school one day. Since then, though, he has been riding the bus in the morning! He plays with his friend, Lily, almost every day. We have been walking on the neighborhood trail again, & of course spending lots of time at the playground! Brady has been waving hello more & more!
Making me happy this month...
I had a great 41st birthday! We actually celebrated two different days - one with my parents when they were visiting, & then on my actual birthday. With my parents, we had delicious cupcakes from a bakery in Richmond called Pearls, & they brought me a balloon & flowers! On my actual birthday, I took Brady to gymnastics, then I dropped him off with Dan & Tyler & I drove to my friend Vanessa's house. She drove us to downtown Richmond so we could have lunch at our favorite pizza place, Bottom's Up! We hadn't been there in almost four years! When I got home, the boys & I went out for ice cream & Brady & I went to the playground. It was a great day!
I told Dan that it's crazy to think that on my birthday last year, I had NO idea that just three weeks later, we'd be putting a contract on a new house in a new area & planning to move!
This was the first time Brady was able to wish me a happy birthday with words...
