Brady's 5th Birthday

 

Brady had a very happy fifth birthday!  He got to celebrate a few days early when my parents came to visit, & he was very excited about the bicycle they brought him!  Then we celebrated again on his actual birthday, and Dan was able to take the day off!  He seemed very happy cuddling with Skye, painting a Christmas ornament, & opening his presents.  He enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie from Subway as his special treat!  A few days later he got a special puppy from his Mummi!

Brady watched a video where a dog went crazy any time mail went through the front door of his house, & he could not stop cracking up!

I loved how the house looked with Brady's birthday decorations & the Christmas decorations too...

Brady was so funny during his cake smash!  Typically a cake smash happens when babies turn one, but since it can't be easy having a birthday so close to Christmas, we let Brady have one every year!  We always put a few m&ms by the cake in order to encourage him to stay seated!  He reached out to his cake maybe twice, and had one bite of the icing, but that was about it.  He was much more interested in the presents on display behind him.  (Who could blame him?!)

We can't believe how much he has grown in five years...

Brady is FIVE!

We can't believe our sweet boy is five!  We are so thankful that he was born on 12/22/15 and we couldn't love him more!  Whenever I think of him, I think of my favorite line from my favorite Christmas movie, Love Actually..."to me, you are perfect."  :-)
