More November Pictures

Despite the time change and the sun setting much earlier now, the boys still managed to spend a lot of their free time outside this month!  They played with friends at the playground, went biking or on their scooter, and walked on the trail!

Dan and Tyler went on a hike together & had a lot of fun!  I'm really glad I saw these photos after I knew they were safe sound...too scary for me!

We love seeing the boys' school work (especially their amazing art work!) and having it on display...

I read that people who decorate for Christmas early, are happier.  While we aren't putting up our tree until this Sunday, I did put up a smaller tree in our foyer, and seeing it has made me happy every day!  :-)  I also did a "toy sweep" so it's much easier now to hide the toys when the boys aren't playing with them!  I plan to turn the playroom into a Christmas room!  :-)

Thanksgiving 2020

We had a lovely Thanksgiving!  We were so happy that my parents & my brother, Steven, were able to drive to our house to have a delicious Thanksgiving lunch with us!  We all love my mom's stuffing, turkey, mashed potatoes, and peas!  Yum!  I was in charge of dessert this year and made my sister-in-law's famous pumpkin dessert.  (I will remember what I learned this year to make it even better for next year!!)  Brady loved going to the playground with my parents, and Dan & Tyler loved watching football with Steven.  They were able to drive home in time to watch the Washington football team beat the Cowboys (and now they lead the division - yay!)  In the afternoon, Dan, Tyler, Brady, & I walked the neighborhood trail, and at night, I took Brady for a drive to see Christmas lights.  We are now counting down to Christmas!  :-)

The picture of Dan & I (both boys refused to be in it with us!) reminded me of our picture from Thanksgiving 2014...

And Brady's Thanksgiving photo reminded me of a photo of Tyler from Thanksgiving many years ago...

Thanksgiving Eve

Brady brought home so many adorable Thanksgiving crafts from school!  He was especially proud of his turkey, which we decided to use as the centerpiece on the table for Thanksgiving!  Skye really liked the feathers and the feet of the turkey!  Brady also helped me make name cards for the table.  We know that he knows the letters G, P, T, B, & D, because most of them are on a letter board at our neighborhood playground.  But he thinks it is so funny if we ask him to point out a letter, and he purposely points to the wrong one!  He is so silly!  :-)
