July was busy! Brady and I got haircuts, Tyler attended a few half day camps, and he and I went to two birthday parties at the pool. One was
for his friend Gideon's 7th birthday, and the other party was to
celebrate his friend Alex's 5th birthday. He also had playdates at our
house, first with his friend, Caleb, then with his friend, Kenny. We
had our neighbors, Jolie and Dan, over before they moved to Georgia. We
will really miss them and their dog, Lucky.
My
sister in law, Kristen, and my niece, Julia, came over one day, as well
as my friend, Barbara. Tyler and I met up with my friend, Anne Marie, and
her son, Jack, at the pool, and I went to the pool all alone one day to
see my friends Michelle and Angie, and Angie's daughter, Grace. Poor
Tyler had a fall from his scooter this month, which thankfully didn't
require stitches, but kept him from going to the pool for a few days.
Dan and I were able to go out to
lunch just the two of us, while the boys played at my parents' house.
My parents just celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary, and my
brother, Steven, turned 35! My parents flew to Denver to celebrate with
him, and his girlfriend, Anne. Brady continues to do well in his
weekly speech sessions, but his climbing and jumping has been out of
control lately! I was excited to spend two relaxing hours with my mom,
my Aunt Barbara, and my cousin, Christian, a few weeks ago. This summer
has been a lot of fun so far, and totally exhausting at the same time! ;-)
