Dan's 38th Birthday

I think Dan had a fun birthday weekend!  Tyler had a slumber party at my parents' house while Dan and I went out to dinner with Brady (who slept the entire time).  Dan was able to watch an entire NBA game.  :-)  The next morning, my parents brought Tyler home and we gave Dan his gifts.  Then we went to his mom's house to celebrate, and since it was such a nice day, we were able to take a walk to the park.  :-)

Happy Birthday to Dan!

Dan is 38 years old!!  When I met him he was 27 so this is the 11th (!) birthday I've been able to help him celebrate.  :-)  I'm so glad his birthday is on a Sunday this year so we could celebrate with him all weekend.  We think he's the best.  :-)

Tyler

It is so fun to see Tyler as a big brother!  He has been all about Brady lately and loves to run over to give him a hug or to help him play with his toys.  He also loves to help me push Brady's stroller.  Tyler has been enjoying play dates with his friends and has been having lots of fun at preschool.  They had "pajama day" one day and he got to bring a bear with him to school.  :-)  Brady loves Tyler and loves to smile at him!  We love our sweet big boy!  Of course, it must not be easy to be four.  This is what I told myself when I sent Dan the following email last week...

Subject - fun morning :-)

your oldest is on a roll this morning....

he cried about his smoothie (because it wasn't an astronaut one)

he cried about his batman ("it's not gray!!!")

he cried about his army guys (I had to move them because of the insane amount of dust under them!)

he cried because "mom, your talking is too loud during my show!"

Brady is Two Months Old!

 

We can't believe Brady is already two months old!!  We feel so lucky to have such a sweet, happy baby, and we have loved watching him grow!
