The Farm

 

This week we took Tyler to his favorite farm.  We had told him that if he was a good boy during his first week of preschool, we'd get to go.  :-)  Unfortunately, it was really hot!!  I am so glad that the weather is starting to cool down.  We took him on a walk to the pier and to the volleyball court in our neighborhood, and he had a playdate with his friends, Noah & Alex.  He also had a visit from my mom and spent a few hours with my parents at their house.  :-)

Krav Maga

 

Dan's Krav Maga center hosted a family night and Tyler was very excited to go.  :-)  He got to run around and play with the other kids, and we got to see where Dan works out twice a week!   He's been going there for five years now and was one of the first students. 

Park Fun

 

This week Tyler went to the park multiple times.  Dan and I try to take him to the school playground any evening that we can.  We had lunch at Dan's mom's house to celebrate our brother-in-law's birthday.  (Tyler and I then ran into Brian at Barnes & Noble days later!)  Tyler loved playing with his cousin Liam and it felt like a fall day!  Tyler went to his favorite indoor playground and spent time with my parents while Dan and I went out to eat & got to do a little bit of shopping.  :-)  He saw my parents again days later so I could have dinner with my friend, Chrissy!

First Day of Preschool :-)

 

Tyler was a little unsure about preschool, but he did great!  He said he had a lot of fun.  We are so excited for him and think he will love it.  :-)

Preschool Orientation

 

This week Tyler had preschool orientation!!  I was so glad that Dan was able to work from home so he could go with us.  Tyler was able to meet his teachers and classmates (and Finnie the fish, the class pet).  :-)  We loved seeing his name on a little cubby!  We are excited for his first day of school next week.  :-)

Labor Day Weekend

 

Tyler and I loved having Dan home with us for a three day weekend!  We went to the pool and to a battlefield so Tyler could see "real cannons".  :-)  Dan spent time with his friend, Marco, and I had a coffee date with my friend, Julie.  We celebrated my mom's birthday and Tyler helped me make a special sign for her.  Tyler had a playdate with his friend, Lily, and I was able to catch up with her mom, Christa.  I also had dinner with my friends, Michelle, Jen, and Angie! 

Football

 

This week we were excited to watch the Redskins vs. Ravens game.  Tyler chose to wear a Redskins jersey, Dan (of course) wore his Ravens shirt, and while I cheered for the Redskins, my only option was to wear the Ravens maternity shirt my mom gave me when I was pregnant with Tyler.  :-)  It was a great game!  Tyler went to his favorite indoor playground twice, and he got to see his Mummi, Gaga, and Papaw.  He has a new teenage mutant ninja turtle helmet to wear when he rides his motorcycle, which he enjoyed wearing to the school.  We went to the pool and he had a playdate with his friends, Noah, Alex, Zachary, and Austin.  I was happy to get to have lunch with my friend, Katie.  :-)
