A Visit With Friends :-)

 

This week one of my best friends, Megan, was traveling with her husband and their girls, Bella & Ever.  We only had two hours to spend with them but we were sooo happy to see them!  It had been a year since we had last seen them and we loved having this time with them.  Dan unfortunately had to work but J did a great job entertaining the kids.  :-)

 

Also this week, Tyler had a play date with his friends, Dylan, Reed, & Baby Lily.  He also had a playdate with Noah and Baby Alex!  :-)  He got to spend time with his Gaga, Papaw, and Mummi, which always makes him happy!

Father's Day :-)

 

 

Tyler has been all about Dan lately!  As soon as Dan gets home from work, Tyler wants to show him his latest lego creation and he wants to play with him nonstop.  He cooperated for some pictures in a special shirt that was part of Dan's Father's Day gift.  :-)

 

 

 

Julia Turns Three

 

Tyler really enjoyed dressing up this week!  Despite the hot weather, he left the house dressed like a fireman one day and a policeman the next.  Everyone at his dentist appointment loved seeing him dressed as a policeman.  :-)  He also walked into his cousin Julia's third birthday party dressed as a policeman.  :-)  We all had a great time at the party, which was at a frozen yogurt shop.  My brother Steven came with us, which Tyler loved.  My mom got him a dress up vet costume which he enjoys wearing as well.  He got to spend time with my parents more than once and he had two visits from Dan's mom.  We took a trip to the park, the pool, and to two of his favorite indoor playgrounds.  :-)

Bunnies

 

This week Tyler spent a lot of time outside.  He loves going to the pier and to the volleyball court in our neighborhood.  We've seen a few bunnies so far.  We know the two spots where they typically are and we love seeing them.  Since I bought a three month pass to his favorite indoor playground, we've been going almost every other day.  He finds someone to play with every time.  

 

I had a maternity photo shoot this week and Dan and Tyler went to the park.  Dan enjoyed the annual pool party with my brother, Steven.  Tyler had a playdate with his friends, Noah & Alex, and spent time with my parents.  We went to Dan's mom's house one day and she came over to our house, too.  Tyler loved seeing more fireworks the day after we went to the fair.

The Fair

 

Tyler, Dan, and I had so much fun at our neighborhood's fair!  We walked over as soon as Dan got home from work and Tyler was very excited to go on the rides!  He had never been on a ride at a fair before.  He loved the motorcycle ride and decided to go on it three times.  He played a game to win a giant inflatable sword, we all ate yummy food, and he got a green Star Wars light saber.  We got to watch the fireworks while we walked home.  Tyler wanted to go the next day, too, but we told him we'll go again when he's five.  :-)

This week, I took fewer pictures of Tyler than any other week of his life! (I'm sure he appreciated the break.)  I had two photo shoots over the weekend and Tyler and I did a very short photo shoot for Dan's Father's Day gift.  I told him we have to wait a few weeks to share those photos.  :-)

 

Tyler attended his friend Audrey's 4th birthday party this week, he took a trip to the library, and one to his favorite indoor playground.  He also hosted a playdate at our house for his friends Noah, Alex, Zachary, and Austin.  He spent time at my parents' house and went to the park twice with Dan while I was working.  We all loved having my brother Steven over for dinner this week too.  :-)

 

He had a bit of a meltdown one day when I was on the phone and he wanted to play on the deck.  I got off the phone and walked over to him wearing what can only be described as fancy pajamas.  His voice still quivering, he looked at me and said, "You look beautiful."  He is so funny and sweet!!
