Julia Turns Three

 

Tyler really enjoyed dressing up this week!  Despite the hot weather, he left the house dressed like a fireman one day and a policeman the next.  Everyone at his dentist appointment loved seeing him dressed as a policeman.  :-)  He also walked into his cousin Julia's third birthday party dressed as a policeman.  :-)  We all had a great time at the party, which was at a frozen yogurt shop.  My brother Steven came with us, which Tyler loved.  My mom got him a dress up vet costume which he enjoys wearing as well.  He got to spend time with my parents more than once and he had two visits from Dan's mom.  We took a trip to the park, the pool, and to two of his favorite indoor playgrounds.  :-)

Bunnies

 

This week Tyler spent a lot of time outside.  He loves going to the pier and to the volleyball court in our neighborhood.  We've seen a few bunnies so far.  We know the two spots where they typically are and we love seeing them.  Since I bought a three month pass to his favorite indoor playground, we've been going almost every other day.  He finds someone to play with every time.  

 

I had a maternity photo shoot this week and Dan and Tyler went to the park.  Dan enjoyed the annual pool party with my brother, Steven.  Tyler had a playdate with his friends, Noah & Alex, and spent time with my parents.  We went to Dan's mom's house one day and she came over to our house, too.  Tyler loved seeing more fireworks the day after we went to the fair.

The Fair

 

Tyler, Dan, and I had so much fun at our neighborhood's fair!  We walked over as soon as Dan got home from work and Tyler was very excited to go on the rides!  He had never been on a ride at a fair before.  He loved the motorcycle ride and decided to go on it three times.  He played a game to win a giant inflatable sword, we all ate yummy food, and he got a green Star Wars light saber.  We got to watch the fireworks while we walked home.  Tyler wanted to go the next day, too, but we told him we'll go again when he's five.  :-)

Funny Boy

 

This week, I took fewer pictures of Tyler than any other week of his life! (I'm sure he appreciated the break.)  I had two photo shoots over the weekend and Tyler and I did a very short photo shoot for Dan's Father's Day gift.  I told him we have to wait a few weeks to share those photos.  :-)

 

Tyler attended his friend Audrey's 4th birthday party this week, he took a trip to the library, and one to his favorite indoor playground.  He also hosted a playdate at our house for his friends Noah, Alex, Zachary, and Austin.  He spent time at my parents' house and went to the park twice with Dan while I was working.  We all loved having my brother Steven over for dinner this week too.  :-)

 

He had a bit of a meltdown one day when I was on the phone and he wanted to play on the deck.  I got off the phone and walked over to him wearing what can only be described as fancy pajamas.  His voice still quivering, he looked at me and said, "You look beautiful."  He is so funny and sweet!!

 

Memorial Day Weekend

 

Tyler is so happy that the pool is finally open!  Dan and I took him on Memorial Day and he had a great time. :-) On Sunday, Tyler and Dan enjoyed 12 hours of bonding while I drove out of town to spend the day with my friend, Vanessa.  They walked to Subway and Home Depot and went to the park. We took Tyler to his friend Noah's 4th birthday party, which had a Paw Patrol theme.  He also took trips to the park and to my parents' house (while I got to have dinner with my friend Robbie).  We met my friend Nina for dinner and she went with us to the park one night.  Tyler also had a playdate with Noah, Alex, Zachary, and Austin. 

 

One morning Tyler climbed onto the top of our table and sang this song over and over and over again.  :-)  I thought he would stop the second I grabbed the video camera (which happens often) but he just kept singing.  :-)

Strawberry Picking

 

My friend Christa invited Tyler and I to go strawberry picking with her and her kids, Reed & Lily.  Since their big brother was at school, we even got to ride with them, which was very fun.  :-)  The kids did a great job picking strawberries!
