Dressing Up
Tyler has wanted to dress up every day this week. He walked into the library one day wearing his Captain America outfit, including his mask & shield. He went to his favorite indoor playground multiple times. During one of the visits, he was invited to a birthday party for the sister of a boy he started playing with. Though he chose not to attend, they still gave him a goodie bag when he was leaving. Soo sweet! He loves the different dress up rooms at the indoor playground. One night he asked to go again and instead, we made the rooms in our house. We had a vet station, a post office, a grocery store, and a diner. We lost the fire extinguisher that he likes to hold when he's dressed as a fireman, but we bought a red water bottle and a black tool at the dollar store and tried to make one. :-) He had a playdate with his friends Reed & Lily & one with Zachary, Austin, Noah, Alex, Joey, & Josh. Dan and I took him to a park near our house and there was a girl there who was crying & lost. She thankfully knew her parents' phone number. We decided to teach Tyler my phone number and he now proudly recites it multiple times a day. :-)

Easter
Tyler was very excited to see what the Easter bunny would bring him. :-) His favorite item is a baby chick who actually chirps. He has named him Furry. We went to Dan's mom's house for lunch and walked to the park. Tyler wanted to wear his Captain America costume and I reminded Dan that last year, Tyler wore a pajama top for his Easter outfit. :-) On our walk, Tyler would yell, "Happy Easter!" to anyone we passed. :-)
The day before Easter, my parents entertained Tyler so Dan and I could go out to lunch, which was a great Easter gift! :-) Tyler had fun decorating Easter cards for his grandparents and coloring eggs. I can't believe it's his fifth Easter!

Let It Go
This week Tyler desperately wanted a spiderman mask. I did my best to make one but he said it was, "too scary". Oops. :-) We found ourselves holding hands while running in the rain (and laughing!) twice this week. The first time, we had an umbrella but we still got soaked. The second time, we didn't have an umbrella and I had both of Tyler's "gogs" stuffed in my coat. Tyler said, "They can't get wet! They are my best friends!" :-)
Tyler was such a good boy for his haircut this week and for his four year checkup. He got to go to his two favorite indoor playgrounds and to Chuck E Cheese. One day when we were close to Tyler's chosen destination (when I really wasn't in the mood to go) he said, "Mommy, I love you. You're my hero." That sweet comment made up for him saying, "Mommy, your outfit is horrible," earlier in the week. He said he does not like green sweaters (who knew?) We have been singing "Let It Go" over and over again in the car. We still don't know all of the words but maybe one day. :-) Tyler was happy to see my parents and Dan's mom this week. He also sent birthday wishes to his Aunt Caroline! March 26th was Dan's dad's birthday. We love him and miss him and wish he was here. I hope Tyler will have an interest in the stars in the sky, just like he did.

Little Policeman
When Dan gets home from krav maga, he will show us different exercises or moves that he learned. Sometimes Tyler likes to do them too. :-)
