The Blue Shirt

 

 

 

I bought a blue shirt for Tyler the last time I visited my friend Vanessa for a day of shopping, and I love it!  I thought he'd wear it on Thanksgiving but it will probably fit him better next year!  We did go outside (before it got so cold!) so I could take some pictures of him wearing it.  :-)

 

This week Tyler got to spend time with his grandparents!  He also had a playdate with Noah and Baby Alex and a playdate with Zachary, Noah, Baby Austin, and Baby Alex.  I went to Lily's 1st birthday party and Tyler went with me a few days before to take pictures of Lily in her birthday outfit!  We also went on a date to the Dollar Store, the mall, and to Corner Bakery.  I had a family photo shoot this week and what I thought would be an engagement shoot for my friend, Julie.  When I showed up at Julie's house, however, she and her finace, Dustin, were wearing pajamas and told me they were actually getting married later in the day!  I got to take pictures of them getting ready and later when they were all dressed up before they left for their wedding.  So fun!  :-)   

The Pier

 

 

 

 

This week Tyler enjoyed two trips to the pier (for "fishing" and to feed the geese), a trip to the park, and a playdate with his friends, Noah and Baby Alex.  For the first time in our nine years together, Dan and I were both not working on Veterans Day.  We were lucky enough to get to enjoy a lunch date at our favorite Mexican restaurant while Tyler stayed with my parents, and a trip to Barnes and Noble so I could get the book, Wild.  I saw a movie and had lunch with my friends, Nina and Kim. 

 

My mom gave Tyler a cd of Christmas songs and he insists that we listen to them every second we are in the car.  I am getting very excited to decorate for the holidays but I am trying very hard to wait until the day after Thanksgiving this year!  :-)

Cleaning

 

 

This week I cleaned and organized a lot.  I don't think our house has been this clean since Tyler's 2nd birthday party.  But Tyler knows how to make a mess on our middle floor in no time at all.  :-)  We had been using Tyler's crib for storage for quite a long time.  Now it is empty again and he has enjoyed jumping in it.  I can't believe how big he looks in his crib now!! 

 

Tyler got to see all of his grandparents this week and even had a sleepover at my parents' house.  He took a trip to the park, and he had a playdate with his friends Noah, Zachary, Baby Austin, and Baby Alex.  My mom gave him a Christmas cd and he insists that we listen to it all the time.  :-)  He loves wearing the bat jacket my parents found in their closet so we are having a hard time letting go of Halloween.

 

I got to see Gone Girl with two of my friends and Dan and I got to go on a date to celebrate nine years together.  :-)

Nine years ago today, on 11/5/05, I met Dan.  And my life changed for the better.  :-)
