Happy Halloween! :-)

 

 

 

Tyler dressed up a lot this year!  Dan's mom bought back the white and red striped shirt from Finland when Tyler was a baby.  I instantly thought, "One day he'll be Waldo!"  Tyler went to a Halloween event with many of his friends in his Waldo costume.  The Donald Trump costume was just for fun - he definitely has the hair for it!  He said he wanted to go trick or treating as Captain America.  :-)  Before we left, my brother Steven came over.  Tyler said, "Uncle Steven is a pirate!"  :-)  Tyler did a great job trick or treating and remembered to say "trick or treat" and "thank you" most of the time.  After awhile he said, "I have enough candy.  Let's go home."  :-)

 

Gog, like last year, was a love bug.  :-)

 

Outdoor Fun

 

This week Tyler had a playdate with his friends Dylan, Reed, and Baby Lily.  When the kids were done playing, we all went out to lunch.  He also had a park playdate with his friends Emma, Baby Charlotte, Colin, and Ella.  Colin & Ella were here visiting and it was great to see them (and their mom!)  Tyler's cousin Liam turned 1 this week!  Tyler helped me pick out a tractor book and shirt for him, and he loved drawing a picture in Liam's birthday card.  He continues to help me look for anything that is heart shaped.  :-)

The Farm

 

There is a farm we've passed many times that I've heard is really fun.  They have a pumpkin patch which we've taken Tyler to the past two years, but this year we thought he was old enough to go into the actual farm.  We went with Dan's mom and Tyler seemed to love everything there - the animals, the slides, the trains & motorcycles, the fire truck, & the hayride!  :-)

 

A Halloween Event

 

This past weekend I had what I would call "a perfect day" (which I rarely say!)  I met my friend Chrissy for lunch, then Dan and I took Tyler to a special Halloween event!  He loved dressing up as Captain America.  :-)  Dan took Tyler to the school to play outside while I cleaned and watched Dateline.  Then we ordered chinese food and Tyler went to sleep early so Dan and I could have an at home date night.  Perfect!  :-)

A Fall Night

 

There are beautiful trees in our neighborhood.  Unfortunately, once the leaves turn red they only last a few days.  We kept driving past them until we noticed one day that the leaves had turned red!  After a trip to the park and to get ice cream, we walked through the trees for awhile (I took pictures, Tyler played with sticks).  :-)  Then we headed to the pier and the volleyball court, where Dan was able to join us after work.  It was such a beautiful night!
